The hardest files known as Rc72, made from graded alloy steel and corrosion resistant. An excellent file for use on platinum and other hard metals.

Half Round Ring files are essential tools that are used to remove metal and refine surfaces in preperation for other techniques. Files cut as they are pushed forward across the surface of the desired area. However Files do not cut on the return stroke otherwise you would undo the smoothing that you just did on the surface.
